I have not tried accessing the pictures to copy out to other programs, but I'll give it a go later. This was something that was carried out by a company who were payed by the UK government and offered, free, to anyone applying for a copy. I've also obtained a free CD-ROM of aerial photographs of the UK. The one I have was sold through the Ordnance Survey, which is the official government mapping service in the UK. The 'use your own maps' feature would be interesting, would these be scanned maps or could they be taken off a CD-ROM such as those sold via the Ordnance Survey I wonder? I use a program, called UI-View, for APRS which allows you to import from the Ordnance Survey CD-ROMs. I have a CD-ROM, which was distributed free, of aerial photographs of the UK.
